Marjorie Malone Presley, of Oxford, AL, lived a life that spanned a full century. On February 6, 2026, she passed away peacefully at the age of 100. She was the heart of a large and devoted family, a steady presence whose love reached across five generations. She is preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Willie Vincent; her husbands, James L. Malone and Malcolm Presley; her son, Wayne Malone; eight of her siblings; and her grandsons, Jeff Brickhouse and Blake Dobbs. One of ten children, she carried the bond of family proudly throughout her life. The closeness she shared with her brothers and sisters created an extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins who remained deeply connected and were a constant presence in her life. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Wilson (Gary), Sheila Malone, and Rhonda Vickery (Kenneth); along with 9 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren who will forever carry her love and lessons in their hearts. She is also survived by one dear sister, Mary Blake. A woman of deep and abiding faith, she loved the Lord and served Him faithfully at Meadowbrook Baptist Church of Oxford for 58 years. Her church family was an important part of her life, and her quiet strength and servant’s heart were felt by all who knew her. Her work career began at Imperial Redding Sewing followed by Ft. Mclellan where she retired in 1989. She was a proud member of various service organizations where she served as a community volunteer, and was honored with the Calhoun Baptist Association’s Servant’s Heart Award in 2016. Her greatest joy was always her family. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, faithfully supporting her family in school, church, and community activities. She never missed an opportunity to watch them, and cheer them on. She found happiness in life’s simple pleasures. She loved the beach, the river, cooking, sewing, canning, Auburn Tiger football and Atlanta Braves baseball. To know her was to know kindness, faithfulness, and unconditional love. Her century of life was a gift to all who shared in it, and her legacy will continue through every story told, every recipe made, and every act of love passed down from one generation to the next. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Her service will be held at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Oxford. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by the service at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Blue Eye Cemetery in Lincoln.
