A memorial service for Mrs. Sharon Loretta Ballentine, 63 of Wellington, will be on Monday, October 4, 2021, at 12:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home with Pastor Roland Brown officiating. The family will receive friends on the same day from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Ballentine passed away on September 29, 2021, at Riverview Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Bruce Ballentine; children, April Butcher-Thurman (Tony Ford), Roy Butcher (Tasha Haynes), Johnny Butcher; stepchildren, Sebastian Ballentine, Isabella Ballentine; grandchildren, Lena Thurman, Lorali Blair, Toni Ford, Roy Lee Butcher IV, Donivan Butcher, Skyler Butcher; siblings, Anthony Cotton, Buddy Cotton, Wayne Cotton, Mike Cotton, Annette Wright; fur baby, Angel, and a host of extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Comer and Ruby Cotton and her sister, Martha Maxwell. Honorary pallbearers will be James Cotton, Steve Butcher, Oscar Jennings, James Cotton Jr., and Roy Lee Butcher IV. Mrs. Ballentine enjoyed collecting different items, being with her pets, and spending time with her family. She lived life to the fullest and brought joy to everyone around her. Mrs. Ballentine was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be greatly missed by anyone who loved her.
