Sarah Louise Forsyth Crosson born February 22, 1934, passed away surrounded by family on Wednesday March 9th. She is survived by her six children, Lamar Crosson (Cathy), Bull Crosson (Teresa), Patricia Wyville (Frank); nine grandchildren, Jamey Crosson (Alisa), Tim Crosson (Aubrey), Audrey Oswalt (Josh), Brittany Elliott (Brad) and Nick Wyville; eight great grandchildren, Noah Oswalt, Seth Oswalt, EJ Crosson, Abby Crosson, Naomi Crosson, Isaac Crosson, Asa Crosson and Eden Crosson, also by many nieces, nephews, and her other children she called her own over the years. MawMaw was retired from Anniston City School child nutrition program, a beloved member of the Oxfordfest committee, and loved working in the Coke wagon. She was a lady who never met a stranger and loved her community with all of her heart. On Wednesday night, she experienced a glorious reunion in Heaven where she was met by our Daddy with open arms, her parents, sisters and brother in laws. What a wonderful moment for our precious Mother. She will be missed by us all, but we are at peace knowing she is no longer in pain. We love you Mother. A very special thank you to CARES, RMC doctors, nurses, Southern New Beacon Hospice, and her caregivers: Jawana, Chelsea, Jennifer, Hali, and Misty. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at 10:00 am in the Toby Miller Chapel at Miller Funeral Home. Her grandson, Jamey Crosson, will be officiating. A burial will follow the service at Anniston Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 11, 2022, at Miller Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Pallbearers will be Randy Harris, Jimmy Roszell, Johnny Roszell, Mike Hollingsworth, Fred Hollingsworth, and Greg Skinner.
