Graveside services for Mary Louise Hinds Riffe, 87 of Anniston, AL, will be held at Eulaton First Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Rev. Randy Huddleston and Rev. Don Gober will be officiating. Mary Louise went to be with her Lord on April 25, 2021 at Brown Nursing and Rehabilitation. Mary Louise was born in Calhoun County, Alabama on June 10, 1933 to Milton Absolam and Katie Ruth Stewart Hinds. She was a strong Christian woman and a member if Eulaton First Baptist Church and former member of Parker Memorial Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. As a military wife, she traveled with her husband to Munich, Germany, Ft. Still, OK, Honolulu, HI, and Ft. McPhearson, GA. She settled in Anniston with her two daughters while her husband served his country in Vietnam. Mary Louise loved to work in her yard, sit by the pool, prepare delicious meals for her family and spend time with them. She loved her family dearly and would do anything she could to help them in any way. She recently moved to Alexander City, AL to be closer to her daughter. In addition to her parents, Mary Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Carl Riffe; daughter, Sharon Ruth Riffe; brothers, Stewart Hinds, Lamar Hinds, Edward Hinds, and a sister, Sarah Hinds Shivers. She is survived by her daughter, Shari Riffe Greene (Clay); grandchildren, Lauren Alexandra Riffe-Cail, USMC Lance Corporal Jared Clayton Greene and great grandchildren, Kaiden Tyree Wilson, Daniel Lee Green, Kaileigh Faith Sanders, and Nova Grace Woodall. Pallbearers will be her son-in-law, grandson, nephews, and extended family members. The family would like to thank the staff of The Willows Assisted Living, Encompass Health-Hospice, Brown Nursing and Rehabilitation for the excellent care and love given to our loved one. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
