    Mrs. Linda Pinkston

    July 31, 1951 - October 4, 2021

    A funeral service for Mrs. Linda Pinkston, 70 of Eastaboga, will be on Friday, October 8, 2021, at 10:00 am at Golden Springs Congregational Methodist Church with Pastor Eric Arrington officiating. A burial will follow the service at the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 7, 2021, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Mrs. Pinkston passed away on October 4, 2021. She is survived by her husband, Terry Pinkston; children, Laura Hinson (Roland), Angie Snodgrass (Cliff), Nick Benefield (Nina), Steven Benefield (Morgan), Eric Benefield (Angie); grandchildren, Alisha Cruz (Brian), Michael Benefield, Ashley Elsea (Steven), Nicole Benefield, Gracie Benefield, Destiny Benefield, Eric Benefield Jr., Raelyn Benefield; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Mundy (Carolyn); close family, Michael Ferguson (Whitney), Desiree Montez, and a host of extended family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Bobbie Mundy, and a sister, Barbara ‘Babs’ Mundy. Pallbearers will be Steven Benefield, Eric Benefield, Eric Benefield Jr., Roland Hinson, Nick Benefield, Michael Benefield, Clifford Jones, Brian Cruz. Mrs. Pinkston retired from the Anniston Army Depot in 2019 as a material expeditor. She attended Golden Springs Congregational Methodist Church. Mrs. Pinkston really enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and was always spoiling them. Mrs. Pinkston was an animal lover, devout Christian, and was very giving. She lived by the bible verse, Acts 20:35 “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” Mrs. Pinkston was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by those that loved her the most.
