Julia Elizabeth (Liz) Talley Thornton Roseke

Julia Elizabeth (Liz) Talley Thornton Roseke, age 62, of Owens Crossroads, Alabama, passed away peacefully on the evening of March 29th, 2022, at Hospice Family Care, The Caring House in Huntsville Alabama after a fierceful fight of cancer. A memorial service will be held at Miller Funeral Home in the Toby Miller Chapel Saturday April 2nd at 12pm with her uncle, Jerry Hopper, officiating. Visitation will be from 11amtill the time of service. Burial of her ashes will be directly after the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Anniston Al. Julia is survived by her loving husband, Larry Roseke and their family, Josh (Amber) Roseke, Jason (Rebecca) Roseke, Jake (Deanna) Roseke and Jennifer Roseke; her God Children, Holli Jean Hasson, Christopher Ray Swartzwelder; her beautiful mom, Carol Nancy Talley; brother, Christopher Lee Talley; sisters, Joy (Jim) Land, Rebecca (Andy) Gardner, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts and uncles and very special friends. Also one of her most loved caregivers is her pet, Timber. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Donald E Thornton; father, Roy Leyden Talley; grandparents, Talmadge & Mary Julia Hopper, Tom Talley, Carrie Talley Cochran, and 2 nephews, William Joseph Blincoe and Christopher Blake Gardner. Julia Truly loved life to the fullest and her family and friends. Her hobbies included cooking, drawing, gardening, knitting, crocheting, embroidery, photography, collecting dolphins, and her favorite place was watching and photographing sunrises and sunsets on the beach with her husband Larry in Destin Florida.
