Joe Benito 32, of Oxford, Al, passed away Sunday, April, 3rd 2022 in his home. Services will be held at Miller Funeral Home in the Toby Miller Chapel on Saturday April 9th 2022 at 3:00 p.m. Brother Horace Carson will be officiating. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service from 2:00 to 3:00. Graveside to follow at Dogwood Trail Memorial Gardens. Joe is survived by his Daughter, Gracie Danielle Benito and her Mother Emerald Pitts, his Mother Tina Montgomery, his Sister Summer Benito, many Uncle and Aunts and a lifetime of friends which he calls his brothers and sisters from another mother. Joe is proceeded in death by his Father Danny Benito, Grandmother Peggy Lang, Grandfather Bruce Lang, Uncle Alan Lang, and Cousin Lee Monday. Pallbearers are Braden White, Jacob Mitchum, Gage Green, Landen Westendick, Rodney Bonner, Dawson Schuler. His life didn’t come to an end in vain. His smile and laughter and word of knowledge will always be remembered. Joe was always happy to talk about his love of his baseball career and the love of his dad. He will always be remembered as a die hard Miami Dolphins fan. He will be truly missed.
