Chris ‘Big Chris’ Shane Eldridge Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

A funeral service for Mr. Christopher ‘Big Chris’ Shane Eldridge, 45 of Anniston, will be Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 11:00 am in the Toby Miller Chapel at Miller Funeral Home with Bo Honea officiating. A burial will follow the service at Plum Springs Baptist Church. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 1, 2021, from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home. Chris passed away on September 27, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Eldridge; children, Haley Eldridge, Wyatt Eldridge, Travis Barnhill Eldridge, Amaya Eldridge; mother, Linda and Michael Misianowycz; father, Tony and Carol Eldridge; siblings, Tony L. Eldridge (Lynn), Jon Eldridge, Kimberly Eldridge, Michael Eldridge (Sydney), Brandon Eldridge; nieces and nephews, Sunshine Eldridge Decilles (Troy), Summer Eldridge, Weston Miller, Trevor Pendergraft, Kayleigh Haney, Catiyln Eldridge; great niece and nephew, Madalynn Eldridge and Easton Decilles; his dog, Bow, and a host of extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Stanley Folsom, Jo Ann Folsom, Orether McDonald, and John M. Eldridge, and his mother in law, Rita Stephens. Chris was well known and very active in the Welborn Community. He owned and operated Elite Creative Construction, LLC Custom Home Builder and was a great contractor. He enjoyed being outdoors doing things like hunting, fishing, and camping. Chris loved traveling and being adventurous. He liked riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, Metallica, and Alabama football, but more than anything, he loved being with his family. Chris put his family above all else and made them his everything. Chris had a smile that could light up a room and you could see his smile in his blue eyes before you saw it on his face. He never met a stranger and saw the absolute best in everyone. He was always willing to help and give those a second chance that needed it. Chris was a jokester and a prankster and could keep those around him laughing. Chris was a loving and caring husband, father, son, brother, and friend, and will be deeply missed that all those that loved him. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the family and friends for all of the love and prayers sent to the family.
