Terry Alan Lambert, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his home in Oxford, Alabama, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 83 years old. Terry was born into eternal life, joining his parents, sister, son, and grandson in the embrace of heaven. He is survived by his devoted wife Mary Ann, their two daughters Teresa (Patrick) and Dawn, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and his brother Brent. A dedicated member of the Air Force, Terry served his country with honor and distinction from 1958 to 1982, rising to the rank of Captain. Throughout his military career, he earned numerous accolades, including Good Conduct Medals, a Longevity Service Ribbon with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, and Outstanding Unit Award with 1 Oak Leaf Cluster. Terry's commitment to excellence extended beyond his military service; he pursued higher education and graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1972 with a BS in Computer Science. Terry's life was marked by adventure and camaraderie as the Lambert family traversed the country for military assignments. Fond memories of road trips, visits to landmarks, meals at A&W, and laughter-filled moments in hotel pools will forever be cherished by his loved ones. Affectionately known as ''Grampie'' Terry exemplified strength, resilience, and tenderness. He delighted in the joy of his grandchildren, engaging in playful antics, and sharing heartfelt laughter. His enduring love and devotion to his family, especially his beloved wife Mary Ann, spanned over 65 years since their serendipitous meeting in eighth grade, where a playful gesture sparked a lifelong romance. Terry's unwavering faith in Jesus Christ was the cornerstone of his life. His love for his Savior surpassed all earthly bounds, bringing comfort and solace to those who knew him. As he peacefully rests in the arms of Jesus, reunited with his beloved son Alan and grandson Jordan, Terry's legacy of love, resilience, and sacrifice lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind. In the words of his loving wife Mary Ann, "we know his address" Though he may no longer be with us in the physical realm, Terry's spirit lives on, guiding and comforting those who loved him dearly. Until we meet again in Glory, we hold onto the memories, the love, and the enduring legacy of Terry Alan Lambert. We love you and will always miss you.
