Mrs. Karen Frances Williams was born on April 13, 1944, and went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2023, at 10:51pm at Noland Hospital RMC, Anniston, Alabama surrounded by her loved ones. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Miller Funeral Home from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A funeral service will be held in the Toby Miller Chapel at 2:00pm with a graveside service following at Forestlawn Gardens Cemetery. Dr. Stephen J. Anthony will be officiating. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children; Michelle O’Neal Miller, Micheal (Lori) O’Neal, Philip Williams, Deborah (Michael) Burger; grandchildren, Krista (Chelsea) Freitas-O’Neal, Sean (Elisabeth) Miller, Tyler Miller, Megan (Ricky) Thompson, Katie (Pasi) Halatokoua, Michael O’Neal, Taylor (Noel) O’Neal, Melissa (David) Gordet, Christopher O’Neal, Michael A. Burger, Tamera (Benjamin) Brown, Joseph Burger, Kimberly (Mason) Love; and 23 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Philip Clyde Williams; father, Alfred Deutsch; mother, Dorothy Dean; sisters, Jeanette Doxakis and Charlotte Brennan; great grandchildren, Julian Chase and Hayven Reign Burger. Karen Frances Williams graduated from San Luis Obispo Highschool in California. She served honorably as a secretary in the Navy. She then continued her education, soon receiving an electronic degree and became a electronic specialist. She worked for Sperry UNIVAC and ISS Group for many years. She was a member of Hill Crest Baptist Church in Saks, Alabama where she loved being part of the body of Christ. She was a loving devoted mother, grandmother and friend to all; she never met a stranger. Her hobbies included reading, painting, and poetry. In her later years, she was passionate about sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She loved to Give to the Gideons International, Lottie Moon and several other charities. She had a deep love for rescuing animals. At one time, she welcomed her home as an animal rescue. A special thank you to Noland Hospital at RMC, Anniston, Alabama and all who cared for her. Thank you to our friends and church family for all the outpouring support. Pallbearers will be Michael O’Neal, Joseph Burger, Michael A. Burger, Mason Love, and Benjamin Brown. The honorary pallbearer will be Philip Williams.
