Services for Mrs. Barbara Jo Johnston Baxter Trull, 86, of Oxford, Al., will be held Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Miller Funeral Home. Barbara passed away in her home in Oxford, April 6th, 2022 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s, after being cared for by her loving husband of 41 years, Charles Trull. The family will receive visitors from Noon to 2:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, with a graveside service to follow the procession to Eulaton Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:30 PM. Chaplain Jim Wilson will be conducting the services at 2:30 PM. Mrs. Trull was born April 19, 1935. She was a lifetime resident of Oxford, Alabama. She retired from Anniston Army Depot in 1983, after 23 years. She volunteered many hours of her time through the years to Steel Magnolias, the Breast Cancer Support Group in Anniston, Alabama. Early in her career, she was a secretary at First Baptist Church of Oxford, where she was a long time member. She loved her family, pets, shopping, and jewelry, which were some of her favorite interests. Barbara is survived by her husband, Charles Trull; her children, Tony Baxter (Sherry), Chris Baxter (Vicki), Camille Baxter Parker (Bryan); her step-children, Cynthia Trull McGinnis (Owen), Robin Trull Schmitt, Eric Trull (Sandra); her brother, Charlie Johnston (Rosemary); her 7 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 9 step-great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Luke & Ruth Johnston of Eulaton; brother, John Johnston of Albertville (Pat); son, Timothy Baxter formerly of Anniston; step-daughter, Tracy Trull Aaron (Lt. Col. ret. Daryl Aaron), of Killeen, Tx.; and grandchildren, Danny Lee Baxter and Meghan Baxter, of Alexandria, Al. She is also survived by the following grandchildren & great grandchildren: Grandchildren - USMC MSgt.
