Andrew Lee Walker

Andrew Lee Walker, 27, entered into eternal peace March 29, 2020. He left peacefully, in his mother’s arms at RMC in Anniston, AL after a long courageous battle of multiple health complications. Andrew is the son of Audrey James, Step-Father Ron NeSmith, and father, Chris Walker, deceased. He leaves 2 sisters; Chasity Walker (nieces Elizabeth Howard and Addison Hoffman) and Christina Walker. 2 aunts; Stephanie James and Anita Horn. 2 Uncles; Jimmy (Janet) Walker and Danny Walker. 9 cousins and countless 2nd & 3rd cousins and several Great Aunts and Great Uncles. Step-Mother Mary Helm. Grandmother Lois walker. He is proceeded in death by his father, Chris Walker, Grandparents Billy and Jeanette James, Uncle Elbert Wright and Aunt Sheila Smith and Chosen Brother Trey Phillips. Andrew is lovingly known by ‘Andy’ to his countless supply of friends. He had 3 ‘Chosen’ Brothers, Ben Hardin, Chris Massa, and Michael and Kyle Hollingsworth and 2 special cousins, Mike Smith and Jim Wright. ‘Andy’ battled many medical conditions throughout his short life; from surgeries to amputation, but he refused to allow his disabilities to dictate his abilities. He was a strong, courageous man of good character with a huge heart. He’ll forever be remembered for his love of making you laugh, even at his own expense. He was generous and loyal to a fault; family, friends, and anyone in need. Everyone knows his love for the ‘Biohazard’ symbol which he proudly displayed in and among his many other tattoos. Andrew was young, still trying to choose his life’s path; from Bounty Hunter, foundry work, to Bail Bonding and was currently with Cool Vapors on Hwy 78. Learning the trade from his dad, Chris, he’d spend hours and weekends under the hood of his truck or one of his many friends laughing and turning a wrench. Friends will always remember seeing him in his jacked up truck, Rebel and other flags flying, music blaring as he cruised through town, up Cheaha, or in “Books” parking lot where he and his friends enjoyed hanging out. We will forever miss his laughter and his warped sense of humor. We will treasure our memories and time we had with him. We will always remember him with love and carry his memory with us until we see him again. He will never know the impact he made in the lives of so many. Andrew completed our family, he was his mothers very breath, he was Chasity’s heartbeat, and our lives will never be the same. We are shattered but grateful for our time with him. Chasity was his protector here on earth, now, her brother, my son, is our Guardian Angel who will always be with us, watching over us, and waiting with open arms when we are reunited, and our family circle is once again complete. In respecting HIS final wishes, there will be a Celebration of Life Friday, April 3, 2020. (Details can be found on his Facebook page or contact sister Chasity or brother Ben Hardin for more info) In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to consider donations in his honor to Wounded Warrior or Birmingham Children’s Hospital. While we are all devastated by this sudden, unexpected loss of our beloved Andy, we hope family and friends may find comfort in knowing he is now reunited with his father and he’s no longer suffering. Andrew has finally found his eternal Peace.
