Josh 'Slim' Arnold

A funeral service for Josh Arnold ‘Slim’ will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 11:00am at Miller Funeral Home. Pastor Nick Goble will be officiating. A burial will follow the service at Dogwood Trail Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on the same day from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. Josh passed away on July 5, 2023. Josh was an organ donor and was able to save the lives of many after his passing. He is survived by his mother, April Arnold; father, Danny Grier; step father, Alan Mason; step mother, Brooke Caffee; siblings, Kelly Jones (Dakota 'Kooter' Brown), Macy Grier, Blake Grier, Rylee Jameson; grandparents, Lynn Arnold, Helen Cruise (Mike), Colonel David Murphy, Gary Snider; cousins, Britney Whitt, Cody Smith, Tristen Arnold, Joseph Whitt, Brooke Bain Hodo, Aliyah Williams; niece, Kynslee Jameson; nephew, Grayson Gravette; aunts, Tiffay Parris, Helen Lambert, Danita Grier; uncles, Jonathan Nelson, John Kittle, Claudia Arnold, Sam Arnold, and a host of extended family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his uncle, Clay Arnold; aunt, Gena Whitt; grandparents, Ricky Arnold, Betty and Edward Kittle; great grandfather, Daniel Seijo, and aunt, Teressa Yates. Pallbearers will be Tristen Arnold, Dakota Brown, Cody Smith, Mason Turner, Alan Mason, and Blake Grier. Honorary pallbearers will be Kiko Ceja-mora, Julio Ceja-mora, Jesse Sanchez, and Bruce Nelson. Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his four-wheeler up the mountain to watch sunsets. He loved taking his girlfriend's baby, Declan, fishing. He was a hard worker and was willing to help anyone before he helped himself. Josh loved God, he loved his sisters and always wanted what was best for them. He enjoyed going to his Mawmaws and Mommas to eat. He loved talking about life on the front porch with Gary. He loved babies! He loved his brother, Blake, fishing, hunting, swimming, watching movies, playing the lottery, working on his truck, and going to work. He loved watching the sunset. He loved the beach. As a baby, he was obsessed with his teeth. He never grew out of it. He loved to smile all the time. He always knew he had a wonderful smile. Josh would help anyone, at any time. Josh loved his family deeply and they loved him. He will be greatly missed.
