CHARACTER Oxford - Funeral services for Evelyn Louise Character, 87, of Oxford, will be Friday, March 1, 2013, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. Terry Bostick and Kathy Arnold will be officiating. Burial will follow in Oxford Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Mrs. Character passed away on Tuesday at Regional Medical Center. Survivors include her daughter, Patsy Arnold (Jerry); son, Rick Character (Sheila); grandchildren, Tiffany Arnold, Jonathan Arnold (Kathy), Richie Character, Jamie Character; greatgrandchildren, Kayla Arnold, Jamison Arnold and Easton Character. Pallbearers will be Tiffany Arnold, Jonathan Arnold, Jamison Arnold, Kayla Arnold and Jamie Character. Mrs. Character was a resident of Oxford. She was a member of First Baptist Church Oxford. Mrs. Character was retired from Bell South Phone Company. She was preceded in death by her husband,
