Memorial Services for Billy Joe Adams "Jo Jo", 71 of Oxford, AL. will be Monday, February 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. Services will be at Antioch Baptist Church, McIntosh Rd. Oxford, AL, with Miller Funeral Home in charge with the Rev. Scott Smith officiating. The Family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, with the burial to follow in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Adams passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at his residence. He was a devoted husband, loving father, Paw-Paw and "Jo Jo". He was also an avid "War Eagle" fan and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years. Patricia Ann Adams, Daughter, Melinda Badgett (Barry) of Wellington, AL, A son, Greg Adams (Kim) of Oxford, AL. and Four Grandsons, Corey Adams of Jacksonville, AL, Taylor and Logan Adams of Oxford, AL and Blake Badgett of Wellington, AL. Two Brothers, Chesley Adams (Karen) and Pete Adams (Irene) of Oxford, AL. Two Sisters, Betty Barker and Sudie Tyree of Oxford, AL and "Jo Jo's" little Brother "Prancer". Pallbearers will be grandsons, Corey Adams, Taylor Adams, Logan Adams and Blake Badgett, Nephew, Dennis Adams and Great Nephew Chandler Tyree. Honorary Pallbearers are Nephews, Donnie Adams, Dereek Adams, Dusty Adams, Shannon Adams, Justin Adams, Ronnie Rogers, Mike Rogers, Chris Rogers, Rick Shaddix, Steven Shaddix, Tracy Shaddix, Randy Adams, Scott Tyree and Great Nephews. Mr. Adams is preceded in death by his Parents, Rev. Arcus and Myra Adams, a brother, Bobby Adams and a Sister, Martha Shaddix.
